I think that when we think about working out, we immediately picture ourselves with a ripped stomach. If you’re anything like me, then you can’t ever find the time to stick to a long-term fitness routine. You have tried it all for like 2 days: Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, Cross-Fit, you name it; You’ve done it. But just the drive to a gym makes you sleepy. ‘’Tomorrow’’, you say, but tomorrow never comes.
Browsing through the internet, I found a couple of articles on how to get a flat stomach in two weeks and none of them really made me want to try them. So, I had a serious conversation with a personal trainer who is also one of my best friends and she explained a couple of things.
For one: Boys have it easier to achieve a flat stomach.
Well, isn’t that spiffy? Frustrated, I continued to listen to what she had to say. Slowly but surely, I got the answer to my prayers: How to get a flat stomach in just 2 weeks!
Eat your proteins between 3pm and 4 pm. This is called by nutritionists ‘’The Magic Hour’’, because it is the key time to boost your metabolism and balance sugar in your body.
Cut sugar from your diet. Try not to eat sugar so that you keep your insulin levels low and the hormone glucagon high (which is the hormone that fights a bloated stomach).
An apple a day flattens a stomach- they say. Well, no one really says that, but according to experts, by eating green apples, you will be ingesting a large quantity of fiber you need to digest your food. Also, apples have pectin, which helps us fight cholesterol.
Leave them crunches for later. According to Myatt Murphy, bestselling author of ‘’The Body You Want in The Time You Have’’, the correct stages in order to get a flat stomach are:

It is better broken down like this: Spend 1 hour preparing healthy food, dedicate 20 minutes of cardio, at least 3 times a week, give weights 15 minutes, also 3 times a week, and last but not least: crunches.
If you follow these steps for 2 weeks, you will most definitely see results. Try them, it can’t hurt!
