Breast Cancer Awareness month
1 in 8 women will develop Breast Cancer over the course of their life. What if you or someone close to you were one of them?
Harsh as it sounds, it’s a reality, but one you could help prevent by regularly testing or performing the auto exam, and by simply taking care of your diet.
It’s no secret that a poor diet can lead to several diseases, including Cancer. In fact, diet is thought to be partly responsible for about 30% to 40% of all cancers. According to a study published in the journal BMC Public Health, drinking just three sugar-sweetened beverages a week could make your breasts denser, increasing your risk for breast cancer.
While it’s true that no food or diet can prevent you from getting breast cancer, it’s also well known that some foods can make your body healthier, boost your immune system, and help keep your risk of breast cancer as low as possible.
Going on a plant-based diet is, therefore, the best way to prevent or fight Cancer naturally, or at least excluding processed foods and sugars, and including more superfoods like Turmeric, Blueberries, Green tea, Broccoli, Flax seeds, Walnuts, Pomegranate, and of course, lots of fruits and veggies! Actually, adding Wheatgrass to your diet is an effective way to get your quota of 5-9 servings of fruits and veggies a day!
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we thought of joining this wonderful cause by providing some tips to our female audience, and donating $1 per every item sold this entire month to a Nonprofit that supports Breast Cancer patients at the moment they need it most.
That’s not it though! Not only you’ll get to support this noble cause with your purchase, but we also thought of giving you a little prize for your loyalty and for helping us raise awareness, so…
